Patricia Caro fashion show at Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida 2024

2024-10-05

DARK HEAVEN is the name of our new swimwear collection for the upcoming spring/summer 2025. Dark Heaven refers to the work of Sara Landry, an American DJ focused on dark industrial techno, with a strong gothic aesthetic in her looks. Her aesthetic and musical project have greatly inspired us to create this collection, which is more focused on the gothic side of our DNA (Tropical Goth).

But not everything has to be so dark; for this season's print, we wanted to move away from the classic all-black look by using a mix of more vibrant colors that still stay connected to the world of techno. Following our philosophy of uniting opposites, the entire collection is tied together by this fluid, abstract, and somewhat psychedelic print.

The bikini silhouettes follow last year's designs, but we've introduced some new patterns, and the cuts are more sporty and daring. Dark Heaven is that space where the darkness of electronic sounds converges with the meditative state they provoke. That state where we all enter and are able to focus our mind and spirit to... (sentence ends).

Liberty, Quality, and Creativity.

Patricia Caro represents a lifestyle, a shout for diversity and the excellence of garments. It is a fashion brand committed to a more responsible market model that is aware of social issues.

The brand was born out of the need to express the feelings, tastes, and ideals of people through clothing. Our philosophy focuses on a diverse audience whose personal identity is not confined by stereotypes or social standards. These are creative, alternative, curious individuals committed to the environment and a more responsible fashion industry.

A key identity of the brand is the experimentation with alternative textiles and their combinations in the garments, creating unique, modern, and distinctive pieces. We also adopt a limited production model, which means we avoid producing excessive quantities of garments per collection. This approach reduces environmental impact and ensures exclusivity for our clients, sometimes even crafting a unique exclusive piece. A technique we strive to apply in our projects is upcycling, a sustainable way to give a second life to garments and create more unique and eco-friendly pieces.
